Clearwater PTA
We formed the PTA in October 2017 and launched with a ‘Funky T-shirt’ competition for the children, followed by a fantastic Christmas fayre! Our first summer fayre was a great success and with the fantastic support of the parents and staff at Clearwater Academy, we managed to raise £1,942.00 in our first year! We put some of this money towards the scrap pod which the children love and a wellie boot stand which will help to free up space in the classrooms.
We are excited to get going with our fundraising events in 2018/19! We are kicking off with a sponsored walk in the October half-term and have the Christmas Fayre planned for November – we hope to beat last year’s total of £721.00!
We have been lucky to have amazing support from the staff and parents at Clearwater Academy and always welcome fundraising ideas; we meet every other Thursday and would always welcome new members to our team!
