We were very fortunate yesterday to have a visit from Sophie Coles, Principal 2nd Violin of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Sophie held a wonderful violin and music workshop with the children and it was thoroughly enjoyed by children and adults alike. Thank you Sophie!
The children were very excited to receive a visit from the Tooth Fairy this week. They learned all about how to care for and brush their teeth. She also taught us all about how much sugar is in the foods that we eat and what food is good for our teeth.

Thank you to our PTA who organised our Easter bonnet competition today. We are overwhelmed by how amazingly creative our children and parents have been. It has been a delight to see such amazing designs. It will be a very hard job for Mrs Moss to choose our winners.
The children had a fantastic time finding the hidden eggs in forest school this morning. Maksy and Aundreus were lucky enough to find the Golden Egg! What a lovely end to the spring term. During our celebration assembly a variety of awards were given out. We celebrated excellent attendance and achievement and admired the wonderful Easter bonnets.

We had a wonderful day on Friday for Sport Relief. Children and staff came to school dressed as their favourite sports person. We had a fantastic time crawling, jumping and balancing our way along our assault course.
The children enjoyed a fabulous week investigating the wonders of science during British Science Week. They made their own lava lamps, fireworks and carried out a skittles experiment. They also explored slime and what happens to water when it is cooled and heated. All of the children gained their Early Years Science Explorer Award. What a [...]
